UN Bitácora  

Task 2: Meeting with the UN Bitácora selection committee. 

Objective: Describe the person you are nominating to become a  Bitácora UN Hidden Figure.

Situation and context: Your classmates and you are participating in  Bitácora UN Hidden Figure annual contest by nominating a person you consider a heroine/hero for his/her contributions to the community. At this stage of the competition, you all are invited to participate in a meeting with other classmates to know more about the nominees. During this meeting you are expected to carry out a two-minute presentation about your nominee and to ask questions about your classmates nominees too.

How to prepare for an interview in English

1. Write your script (candidate's profile). Improve it according to your teacher’s feedback.
2. Prepare visual aids to contextualize your classmates (include some pictures or a mind map).
3. Rehearse with a classmate and anticipate posible questions about her/his candidate.
